CREANDO is a non-profit organisation based in Switzerland, founded in 1979 and managed since then by > Gottlieb Guntern and his wife > Greta Guntern-Gallati.

Purpose

• Getting a deeper understanding of the nature and basic mechanisms of creativity
  and leadership
• Making a major contribution in these connected fields
• Making the knowledge available to as many people, companies and institutions
  as possible
• Developing the creative potentials and resources of individuals, groups, companies
  and other social institutions

Basic Approach to Scientific Research

CREANDO's overall approach is based on systems science, chaos theory and the theory of dynamic complexity. It integrates concepts, specific strategies and practically relevant results from the domains of neurobiology, biology, medicine, psychiatry, stress research, individual psychology, group psychology and social sciences.

Main Activities

• Organisation of the > International CREANDO Symposium on Creativity and
  Leadership in Economics, Arts and Science
• Applied research in the domains of creativity and leadership and the strategically
  relevant link between these two domains
• Creation of concepts, strategies, methods and tools for the development of
  creative leadership potentials and resources in people
• Publication of > books on the above mentioned topics
• Special advisory activities in multinational companies and other social institutions
